Teens should not chose plastic surgery as a way to fix body image problems because it is costly, it can sometimes lead to greater self esteem issues, and it is often a health risk.

genetic engineering should not be legal in any way, we do not know all the side effects, it is unethical, and if we continue down this path then we will end up with genetically engineered kids that all look the same.

Is the commitment for sports too much for good teams? Sport commitment should be lowered for teen sports, since teenage athletes who spend too much time at mandatory team events are struggling with school education, working out too hard, and not having social time at home.

ReplyDeleteThe Minimum legal drinking age should be lowered for a few reasons. If you are old enough to vote and join the army you should be able to drink, also there have been an increase in fatalities from the age group of 21-24 since the drinking age has been increased, and school work began to have a steep drop in quality.

ReplyDeleteI changed mine: Pregnant teens should not be treated the same as other pregnant women because, out of one million teen pregnancies only 500,000 babies are actually born, 70-80% of teen pregnancies are fathered by men 20 years or older, and teen mothers are more likely to drop out of high school then mothers that have already graduated.
